Mankind expresses meaning and identifications about themselves and their worlds by means of expression tools. One of these tools is undoubtedly literature. It is an undoubted fact that there is at least one element that belongs to the human beeings in every work in the field of literature. Finding, evaluating and transferring the items processed in literary texts is an important task for humanity. As known, Turks have used different writing systems in the different periods of history. One of them is Arab writing system, which has been used for the longest time. Many literary works and texts, in which Arab letters became meaninful with Turkish expressions, have been present. The majority of them belong to the period of the Ottoman Empire. The magazines/ anthologies that are among important resources of Classic Turkish (Divan)Literature, which covers a long period of Turkish literature, carry many messages into future as well as including many codes belonging to the terms they were written. Magazines are the works including as well as the poems that poets wrote each other as a kindly reply, have the nature of anthology belonging to many poets. Mecmualar are anthological works. These works are important in terms of harboring the tastes and understandings of the period, the tendencies of the poets and the people and their point of view. Anthologies/mecmuas/magazines, offer access to many poets who are not found in literary sources or who do not have poetry examples. There may be poems which are not in the divans or later written. These are very important in terms of keeping enjoyment sense of relevant term and tendencies of poets and accordingly tendencies of public and their point of views in respect of entity. Because magazines include the way that has been followed by poets in poetry, and the clues regarding the masters that poet loves. Besides, any poet may have written poem after the organization of his divan as well and this poem may not have been included in the divan sample he organized. It is likely that some of his poems might not be published since he couldn’t attempt the organization again because of that he didn’t live long enough for that or for other reasons. Poetry magazines are the only resources for the poets whose divans have lost or didn't get a chance to organize divan. The aim of this study is to examine and evaluate the Turkish poetry magazine of ASL 625 Mec 83 Registration Number, which is located in Seyfettin Ozege Manuscript Department of Erzurum Ataturk University Central Library.Since the compiler of the work is a poet with a pseudonym of Kâsımî, the work was called as the “Qasimî’s Compilation” After all the evaluations, the poets and their poems mentioned in the compilation will be indicated in a table.
