This article is devoted to the study of Kyrgyz speech etiquette, reflected in the stories of Chingiz Aitmatov "To have and to lose ", "Farewell to Gulsary" and "White Ship". Speech etiquette is aset of verbal and non-verbal means and methods of communication between communicants established in society. Etiquette norms in a broad sense can be universal and national-specific. The combination of national traditions and behavior norms forms the etiquette of national speech behavior. Our study is exactly devoted to the national-specific forms consideration of the Kyrgyz speech etiquette, which are transmitted by means of the Russian language. The analyzed Chingiz Aitmatov’s works as“The White Steamship” and “Farewell to Gulsary” were written in Russian, and the story "To have and to lose "is the author’s translation. Kyrgyz speech etiquette is presented most clearlyin them. The author, being a bearer of the Kyrgyz linguistic culture, he reflected in his works the Kyrgyz life, described the Kyrgyz culture, which he absorbed since his early childhood, along with his native language. In the study, was done a trial to describe the national-cultural characteristics of the linguistic consciousness of the Kyrgyz people and their mentality, and indicators of cultural value in communication. In the analyzed stories, national-specific contact developing etiquette means of communication which are used and identified in greeting and hospitality situation,also were observed family related and age indicators, which are focused on the communication situation. The stories of ChingizAitmatov show situations of compliance and violation of Kyrgyz speech etiquette.
