TRADITIONAL GAMES YAKUT(SAKHA)

This book styled Geleneksel Yakut (Saha) Oyunları (Traditional Yakut (Field) Games) is the Turkish translation of the book named " Саха Төрүт Оонньуулара (Saha Törüt Oonn’uulara)" authored through A.S. Fedorov and published by the “Biçik” publishing house in Yakutski in 2011. A.S. Fedorov has published this book in three languages by adding the Russian and English translations thereof next to the Yakut language version. The book includes the rules of a total of 42 traditional Yakut games as well 42 pictures drawn by the artist T.A. Boytunov incident to cited games. It is noteworthy that some of the games which we have translated mainly from the Yakut language version as the source language by also using the Russian version as reference can be seen in different variations in Turkey as well as in places where Turkic people live in Central Asia and other parts of the world.
