It is seen that 95 editions of Hamiyet Newspaper which started its publication life in Stara Planina Printing House in Plovdiv on 25th of November, 1896 were published until 11th of October, 1897. Each copy of the newspaper was 4 pages. However it wasn’t published regularly, it was published two times until 17th edition and from 17th edition it was published three times in a week. The newspaper included the policy which Europen Countries monitored against Ottoman Empire and the relations between Balkan Countries with dissolutions in Balkans. Besides it gives information about the education activities of Ottoman Empire. In this study,the content of Hamiyet Newspaper which played an important role in cultural life of Balkan Turks is dealed.
