In terms of its formation and development, identity is both a natural process and a political construction. In the process that began after the birth of man, social and psychological relationships that man established with others determine what/who he is. The primary determinant is determined as cultural and traditional as well as psychological. In the case of Western communities in the construction of identity, relationship especially established with other is effective. In the identity shaped on the other's mirror, there is a glorifying identity that prevails but in the case of other, there is an insulting manner and attitude towards the other. In this context, the relationship between the other and Western-centered identity will be studied in our article.
