Throughout this study, the data related with the district of Giresun in Trabzon Provincial and Maarif (Educational) Salnames has been gathered and classified in a scientific approach. The social and religious structure ofthe district in question and its nearby towns during the period has been assessed based on the data from the mentioned resources.
