Like any artist who is a part of his society, Naili has as well tried to mention his original imaginations being produced depending upon his artistic potential with the opportunities of traditional poetry and grown with cultural and literal characteristics belonging to the community in which he lived. While expressing his peculiar imaginations, Naili has utilized unusual applications of usual components. He has been a poet, who could manage to write skilfully in terms of reaching harmony from antonymous concepts, describing the concrete one by the abstract and vice versa, unifying the elements which have no any relationship in defining each other sensorially and by the means of all those acts developing different viewpoints by opening new horizons in the minds of his readers. Unfamiliar combinations within his poems have presented different images in different samples for every reader. In this study, by analysing lyric poems in Naili’s divan, different usages/using traditional images in a different way put forth by the poet are tried to be determined.
