ALAWISM-BEKTASHISM 12 DUTYIN CEMHOUSES

Aiming at providing young generation with the belief and culture of alevi and bektashi, this study explains how 12 duty is conducted and gives significant information towards the system, order, gulbenk and duaz-i imam. There will certainly be differences from one region to another in terms ofthe execution of duties, musics, whirlings and the expressions and duaz. 12 Duty has been executed for ages in Gaziantep, Maras-Nurhak, Malatya, Diyarbakır and mainly in Urfa, all of which are dependent on Haci Bektas Veli's monastery. This 12 duty is executed once in a week in evening times. It is of great importance that youth generation from domestic and foreign learn these information and take active part in cem houses.
