Selim İleri, who published Cumartesi Yalnızlığı in 1968 is firstly known as a story writer in Turkish literature. Selim İleri doing nothing else than writing during his literature life did every kind of literature work and became famous by his novel writings in Turkish literature. Selim İleri, who is very productive in novels published twenty-one novels first ofwhich is Destan Gönüller in 1973 and last of which is Daha Dün in 2008. Bodrum Dörtlemesi which is composed of four books published between 1976-1980. Method and concept of author’s novels being different from classical concept and the way of authors representing subject had been discussed by literature community of that period.
