Dear readers, authors, and academic stakeholders,

As Karadeniz Journal, we closely follow developments in scientific publishing and have implemented an important change in order to adopt a more accessible, sustainable, and up-to-date publication model.

As of 2026, our journal has transitioned completely from a print-based publishing model to a fully digital publishing model. In this context, all new issues of the journal will be published exclusively in digital format. This transition aims to reach a wider audience and to ensure that publication processes are carried out more efficiently and effectively.

All previously published print issues will be preserved as part of our archive and will continue to be freely accessible through digital platforms.

Along with this transformation, the journal’s author guidelines and publication standards have also been updated. Accordingly, the APA 7 citation style will be used instead of the previously adopted APA 6 format. Authors are kindly requested to take into account the updated guidelines in this new period.

In addition, in order to further enhance the academic quality and publication standards of the journal, all editorial boards, including the Editor-in-Chief, have been restructured and renewed.
