In the modern Georgian press due attention is paid to the construction of the railway Baku-Tbilisi-Kars. In the article the attitude of The USA and Armenia towards this project is considered, and also, within the bounds of the signed agreement longterm cooperation between Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan when implementing such regional projects as the construction of oil and gas pipe-lines and the railway. Günümüz Gürcü basınında Bakü, Tiflis, Kars demiryolu inşaatı önemli ölçüde yer almaktadır. Makalede BTK demiryolu hakkında ABD ve Ermenistan'ın pozisyonu; Gürcistan, Türkiye ve Azerbaycan tarafından imzalanan ortak deklarasyona göre petrol, doğalgaz borusu ve demiryolu gibi çok önemli olan bölgesel projeleri gerçekleştirilmesi ve her üç ülkenin ”uzun vadeli” işbirliğine başladıkları anlatılmıştır.
