Azerbaijan has an ancient history, but insufficiency of written sources does not enable comprehensive investigation of a history of ethnoses, from ancient times living in this district. Absence of the facts results to that the Azerbaijan and foreign scientists in this occasion have different sights.
In article the author, proceeding from the facts of the ethno language processes occurring in this territory, comes to a conclusion, that Turkic tribes and radical ethnoses of this region centuries in common lived on this ground.
