THE DEATH OF SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL AND THE TURKISH PRESS

Born in Oxfordshire on 30th November 1874 as the son of the Duke of Marlborough as a noble person, Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill took various missions in the Royal English Army after his military training and then he acted first as a  journalist and then as a member of parliament. During his long political career, he occupied some important issues such as the  Minister of Defence and the  Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and retired from politics of his own will in 1955. Having suffered from a brain hemorrhage at the age of 91 in 1965, Sir Winston Churchill died in Hyde Park, London on 24 January 1965 after 10 days in a coma. Buried in his hometown, Oxfordshire, after a majestic funeral, Churchill lies next to his parents. This study deals with the developments that began on the day when Churchill had a brain hemorrhage to the end of the funeral as reflected in the Turkish press.
