Though today the development of psychological science in our country as well as throughout the whole world has reached an advanced level, so that it can be highly helpful for all fields of knowledge and especially for pedagogy, it is not tought sufficiently even for pedagogical fields, due to the faulty tradition prevailing at our university.
According to Uznadze, the fact that pedagogy relies on psychology can not be understood, so that the first can be combined and identified with the latter.
Pedagogy is an absolutely independent science, which relies on many fields of knowledge together with psychology. Psychology as an independent science helps pedagogy also an independent science to fulfill it's tasks. Pedagogy itself can be very helpful as well, as we have seen succesful pedagogical practice shows were basis of the development of a harm a one unity, as a person and provides important material for the theoretical understanding of fundamental subjects of psychology.
