THE FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN TA TAR AND CHUVASH LITERA TURES: THE SOURCES AND THE PRESENT TIMES

The F.G. Galimullin's article «The friendship between Tatar and Chuvash literatures» is said that the Tatar people and Chuvash people have got much in common. Both of them belong to one language family, thought they have got significant differences in their languages. The article deals with the problem of the literary cooperation between the writers of these two nations. Kazan - the capital of Tatarstan - is the spiritual capital for the Chuvash people. The first papers written on Chuvash language were published in Kazan.
The literary work of the Chuvash poets and writers connected with Tatarstan is analyzed by the author of the article.
