Even though it has been decades since the study was written by famous Manas researcher, the late İmel Moldobaev on Kyrgyz Shamanism, it has remained an important study in its field. This article deals with Kyrgyz Shamans, rites performed and works made on Kyrgyz shamanism upon examining notes written and not issued by the famous poet – scholar Togolok Moldo of the Kyrgyz on the basis of his meetings with Kyrgyz shamans.
